Who gonna get the parking sensor??
I find it is really hard to see the rear because the window are too small, and the boot part are quite tall, I don't wanna take the risk.
I've ask my dealer several times, but he said the parking sensor is not out yet, and he's unsure when will it be available.
Do you think it's look weird with the parking sensor on the car??

Having seen other cars with the sensors and a picture of the RX-8 thus equipped I can say that I think it ruins the look of the rear end. There again so does driving backwards into a concrete post so you pays your money and you makes your choice...

I did that with my RX-7. Backed into a huge concrete pot that was just below my line of sight. Now I take a closer look at what's behind me BEFORE I get in the car.

I have seen one of the Mazda6 (at one of our meet) has it's parking sensor put on by the Mazda's dealer. The sensors the on the rear bumper bar,are painted on to match the colour of the bumper ,so that it is hard to tell where those sensors are, unless you really look for it.

In Japan
there is an option which you can fit a little camera on the rear
so while u shifted into reverse, the navigator screen will show the camera's screen
Just like the one on Lexus RX330
But since the navigator is not available in Australia yet, so we definitely couldn't get.
By the way
if the navigator is available in the near future, anyone gonna get it??
The interior will definitely look better, since in the front, the centre is quite empty.
