i just want to say hi, this is my first post.
just a little bkgrd on my rx7 history, red 88 se, white 88 vert, 89 blk vert. for the rx8, dont know much except for all the reading in this forum. i tested a loaded winning blue a month ago and loooooved even more after the test drive. should be driving it with couple weeks, just waiting for the insurance-nj insurance takes forever.
one quick question, can the nav sys play dvd movies in the 8. dont know how stupid the question is.

Welcome, I can't say enough about the car that hasn't been said before. As for the nav, no it can't play movies in stock form. Do a search on the forum, someone posted a company a while back that's working on a hack.

Just use that handy dandy search button and if you dont find anything feel free to ask. It's just that most of the basic stuff has been covered. Although you shouldnt feel shy to ask if you dont find enough info. Just let people know you actually looked first so they dont just tell you to use the search button :)

i know when to drive and when to watch movies,
it sa good feature when i am waiting for someone in the car
also wondering the capability of the system.
