but I gotta make one anyway! In a few days, I'll be joining the fold. I just sold my 6 (after seven months!) and am meeting up to buy my 8 soon.

Here she is, 30K miles (just one pic until I'm really sure it's mine!):

I have to resist the mod bug, promised the wife I would, but I still plan on hanging out here a bunch, just continuing to learn about the rotary and the rest of the 8! So, um, I guess hi!

The 8 will be the bad influence. We just support the habit.

Good luck & once you get it - Enjoy!!

When I got my '8 18 months ago I didn't have the slightest intention of changing anything. I didn't even know what could be done to this car to make it look or drive better - I was just so thrilled that I finally had one and driving it was fantastic. Well, look at my signature now!!! Modding is indeed an addiction! (And I don't even have any of the really SERIOUS performance upgrades!):ylsuper: :ylsuper:

Now, how to slip the mods by the wife???!!! That's another story altogether!

I bought a WRX and, like you, was just happy to have such a fun car and didn't even know how to change my oil. Well, after about 18 months:

Very fun, but - with two little ones - it's just not practical for me to spend the kind of mod money it takes to really customize a ride. I may sneak some little cosmetic things in, but my modding days are indefinitely on hold.

1. Intro threads are not dumb--welcome to the club!!! Enjoy your anticipation--enjoy your car (when you get it).

2. Bad influence? Not this site.

3. Even if you don't mod (and I've done very little) this is a great place to visit and to learn.
