Mazda takes the Auto Renesis motor.. mates it to a stick shift and sticks it in a Coupe.. (They get to keep the variable port, variable lenght, gear driven intake manifold, drive by wire, high cost technology. They also get to keep leather seats, bose stereo, navigation and most other creature comforts..) What we get is a 200hp, 2400lb coupe with a great suspension and brakes.. sell it for 20 grand. Everyone wins!! We get a rotary car just waiting to be modified and Mazda sells a blue gazillion of them... oh yeah.. call it the return of the RX3.. well.. maybe RX4 since it is a 13b after all...

That's a wonderful idea. I think I read a similar suggestion on rotary news.com. Keep it simple, sell a bunch of fun cars. Win win. Everybody wins.

Ceramicseals.. now if they could use those instead of 1000 dollar headlights.. that would be an interesting trade off.... and just what is that issue of sealing at high rpm again.... ???
