After my test drive on Saturday at Brooklyn I was given a leaflet on Supagard. The supagard products are applied before you take delivery of your new car.

Included in the package for the "special price" of £199, (usually £299) is a paint sealant that "eliminates the need for waxing and polishing for three years". Also included in the package is a wheel protector, vinylgard, fabricgard, carpetgard and leathercare.

Has anybody used or have any experiances of this product.

Have a look @ these

this is interesting as it sums up the whole discussion. Overall I think that those guys with it (ok so they're lexus owners!) think the outside works, but the inside just makes the dash more dusty - theres a fair few posts in there for you to make up your own mind though

Price for £200 is about right: (nicked this from that forum - cheers!)

There are a few places on the web where you can buy a "home kit" but they reckon it takes about 5 - 8 hours to do it properly. It was about £50.

Autoglym also do a similar product with 10 yr guarantee - they come to you and include £70 on autoglym products for £249

The worst thing that can happen to the top of the dash it to have it go shiny.

I picked up my current car from a second hand dealer who had put some internal polish on the dash. The fitrst time the sun came out I was almost blinded by the reflection of the dash on the inside of the windscreen.

I also looked at Supaguard, but may just spend the money on accessories instead (sorry ment to say an accessory). I have some Zymol in the garage so will use that instead.
