View Full Version : Body kits - Original
tubbee 09-30-2006, 12:57 AM Hi guys,
Pretty new to this car. Can someone tell me what the best looking body kits are? And where I can install them, looking at originals only. I know all of us have different tastes, but it would be nice to hear from some of you....
I like something clean and simple.
Thanks for your advice.

hmm can do a search, i bet there must be quite a lot info one can can. alternatively, like most of us, get the hyperrev book on RX8 (from kinokuniya), it's commonly known to us as the "rx8 bible". it documents aftermarket parts available for the 8.
Wat is ur definition of clean n simple? R u looking for something that is juz an add
on like a front bumper lid or looking to really change the entire outlook of the car?
Agree wif sandman on this one...it might be better for u to grab that book from
kino n really decides for urslf wat r the kits u like...not much of a point getting
something everyone says its nice but u simply dun like it?
As for where to get it, u can try monster garage...they can bring in wat u want...
n yah...its original...hope this helps... :)
tubbee 09-30-2006, 01:55 AM Great thanks guys! Going to buy the Rx8 bible.....

Good choice on original kits. In the long run, they wear better and less maintainence. Not to mention looks better :hahano:
tubbee 10-12-2006, 01:06 AM Hi,
Does anyone know what a PU Fibre kit is? If it is replica, does it means it is better quality?
What are the original kits made of? I know some replicas are made of fibre glass and this can be quite wavy and ugly.
Cheers

depending how much u willingly to spend....
if u want original,it will cost u at least 4k i tink....
but if u go for repilca, its only ard 1600 including install n paint....
plus will throw in some freebies for u.....
Fiber glasss one cannot make it one....kana kemp n it gone....
PU is better...it wun crack....the paint will just cum off...
